Prairie Day 2026
Prairie Day 2026: Timeless Prairies, Thriving Ranches
6-8:30 a.m. - "Early Bird" Prairie Walk - location TBA (will email to all registrants)
Prime time for birding plus plant ID on the prairie
9 a.m. - Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park opens, registration and booths open
Activities include outdoor bingo, Bird Olympics, grouse viewing blind, rainfall simulator, and more
9:30-11:30 a.m. - Prairie walks every half hour
Birding and plant ID in the park
12 p.m. - "Prairie to Plate" lunch served and talks
Learn about the diverse benefits prairies provide and how you can help preserve them.
Bring your own lawn chair, sunscreen, bug spray, and water bottle.
No cost to attend
Registration is required for lunch tickets.
